The HORTICULTURE SECTION of OUR SHOW would like you to see you enter into the 2019 show. From your garden greenhouse, windowsill box, allotment, your school garden or community garden, we would love to see it being exhibited in the 2019 horticulture section of the show.
Each year everyone is amazed at all the wonderful and fantastic entries which make such a great part of the Annual show but it needs YOU to enter to make this year’s show an even bigger success than last year.
Headline NEWS, “Calling on all enthusiastic gardeners of all ages”
This year we have added some new and exciting categories, come along and have a go at displaying your container grown flowers this year. A hanging basket or a planter display , it could be round, square or even a trough shaped planter , we want to see it on display in the horticulture tent.
If a hanging basket isn’t for you, why not try your hand at displaying a potted plant, we have 7 classes for you to choose from or you could enter all 47 classes and the cost to enter would still be the price of a show ticket. FANTASTIC VALUE don’t you agree.
Fruit and vegetables classes
There are 3 additional classes in the fruit and vegetables section this year. You could weigh in your heaviest marrow or have a go at displaying your live salad plant any type or variety grown in a 6 inch pot. We would love to see your entries. The entrant who produces the best exhibit in the vegetable section will be awarded a trophy and the exhibitor with the most points in this section will receive a special prize.
